1. Who we are

Ghiras is a parenting app helping Muslim parents raise their children with balance. Your data privacy matters more than our growth — this document explains in detail what we collect and how we protect it.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, photo from Clerk.
Children data: name, age, gender, photo (if you upload).
Journal: texts you write, tags, moods.
Advisor chats: your questions and AI responses.
Usage: buttons clicked, pages visited — anonymously, not linked to identity.

3. How we use it

Serving you (personalized milestones for your child).
Smart monthly recaps.
Improving the app via aggregated stats (not individual).
Securing your account from unauthorized access.

We never sell your data. Never share with advertisers. Never used to train external models.

4. With whom we share

Anthropic (Claude): advisor messages only, without child name. Deleted on their side per their policy.
Clerk: identity and auth.
Neon: database (encrypted storage).
Vercel: hosting (no access to message content).
PostHog (EU): anonymous stats, respects your cookie refusal.

5. Your rights

You can:

Access: request a full copy of your data.
Correct: edit any wrong info.
Delete: remove your account and all data within 24 hours.
Export: download your journals and milestones in readable format.
Object: stop any particular processing.

We comply with PDPL (Saudi), GDPR (EU), and COPPA (children under 13 cannot create accounts).
